Age Requirement
Applicants aged between 17-30 may Enquire. Applications must be lodged for approval before the applicant's 31st birthday.

Eligibility Requirements
-You must be a citizen of the Commonwealth.
-You must intend to take a holiday in the UK. Any employment that you undertake in the UK must be incidental to your holiday.
-You must have enough funds to support your stay in the UK without needing any help from public funds. Proof of a minimum of AU$3000 is advisable. -You should not have financial commitments that require a regular income.
-You must declare any criminal convictions - some will result in ineligibility.
-You must not have previously had a working holiday visa for the United Kingdom.
-If you are married your spouse must be intending to take a working holiday with you and you must both meet all requirements.
-If you have a child (or children) accompanying you to the UK as a working holidaymaker you and the child (ren) are required to leave the UK before the child turns 5 years of age.

Validity / Timing
Your UK Working Holiday Visa is valid for two years. The two years are counted from the date that you propose as your entry date on your visa application form. You are unable to enter the UK before the "valid from" date on your visa.

Entry & Re-entry
Your working holiday visa allows multiple entries into the UK during its period of validity.

Employment Issues
Work must be incidental to a holiday and the visa holder may only work half the intended length of stay in the UK.

Processing
It is advised to allow up to 4 weeks for your visa to be processed- especially in peak travel periods. However average processing time is 10 days.
