Malta Working Holiday Visa

age requirement
Be
aged between 18 to 25 years and single - although
married couples without children are also eligible. And
in some cases, people up to 30 years of age may be
approved.
other eligibility requirements
Have
a valid Australian passport which is valid for more than
12 months.
Have a Police Clearance Certificate
issued from your local police station.
Provide 2 identical recent
passport photos.
Supply a return pre-paid
registered express post envelope.
validity / timing
Visa
is valid for a total period stay of up to 12 months from
date of issue.
proof of funds
Must
be in possession of sufficient funds (Lm 500) for
maintenance of first 3 months of stay. A copy of a bank statement showing
around A$ 4,500 is required at the time of lodging your
application.

No known quotas.
employment issues
Employment must be
incidental to the main purpose of the visit -
holidaying.
Must not be seeking a working holiday
visa in response to pre-existing overseas recruitment by
an employer in Malta.
Cannot seek engagements in Malta as an
entertainer or sports person.

Multiple re-entries are
permitted.
fees payable
$A 60 is required as an
administrative charge for visa processing.

Processing of the visa takes around 8 weeks
from application. You may be required to have proof of a return
air ticket.
